Has it ever oc...Just read your piece on Boston.com<br /><br />Has it ever occurred to you that the whole notion of ADHD may not be footed in reality as a physical or psychiatric disorder but rather reflects rather normal behavior? I have yet to see viable proof that this cash cow (for providers, researchers, schools and even some parents) is not driven by a mix of hogwash and moral hazard.<br /><br />Add to that the fact that most children today are dumped into daycare and all-day schools shortly after a drive-by delivery. That those kids are messed up doesn't surprise me at all. Pills and talking to "mental health professionals" once a week won't really change that.<br /><br />As a health care professional and father I'm a bit disgusted at times when I see what's going on...Nothing personal.swampscott26https://www.blogger.com/profile/07572656810060669886noreply@blogger.com
